To enhance the appeal of the Yngling for youth teams, IYA has put together a youth package at the Annual General meeting 2019. It consists of
- the Worlds Charter Boat Program, which puts priority on youth boats; they obtain generous financial support form IYA
- “Wild cards“ for youth boats at Worlds and Europeans; youth boats can participate in any case
- Reduction of entry fees of youth boats by 50 % at Worlds and Europeans; IYA carries the remaining 50%
In a youth team all members are 23 years old or younger.
